Formed in 2006, after the multi storm summers of '04 and '05 to help make the lives of those in a power outage a little less dark! Our first location opened in April of 2006 in Delray Beach, FL. Our second location opened later that year (November) in Greenacres, FL as a Hurricane Supply and Housewares Store. Our 3rd location opened in August of 2007 also in Delray, but on the West side of the city. We are now in our 4th location. this time in West Palm Beach at the Sunshine International Flea Market. Located on Military Trail, just south of Forest Hill. The phone number is 561.966.5636. We strive to have the lowest prices available for each item. Will it always be the lowest? We hope so. We also hope that when you compare prices, you use the exact same item to compare, apples to apples, etc. Also compare shipping costs. Someone may sell the same thing for a dollar less, but if they charge $4 more to ship it, you have spent more, not less. There will be times that my products do not have a "Brand Name" on them. Rest assured that I have tested and tried these products and they are as good as and sometimes better than the advertised names. After all, I want you to keep coming back to me for a long, long time.
I joined my first volunteer Fire Dept. almost 40 years ago and with that knowledge and experience I will always try to bring you the safest, finest and best value I can find in Hurricane Supplies. That is why all lanterns are battery operated and not fuel(kerosene, lamp oil, etc.) assisted Hurricane lamps. More fires have been started by those than I care to think about. I also started cooking at age 5, How long ago was that? Well, let's just say it was a few weeks ago and leave it at that. I owned the largest cookbook store in New England (it was the only cookbook store, so I guess that made it the largest)and consulted to many restaurants over the years. So when we offer Housewares for sale, they do what they are supposed to do and at great prices!
We might not be able to make your life safer like hurricane shutters, but we can sure make it easier in a blackout. It matters not if you live where Hurricanes hit, or tornados, or ice storms or blizzards. Everyone can be a victim of a blackout or even in times of heavy use, brownouts. When you need it, have it. It is never too early to be prepared, only too late!
